| History: The following fluorescein angiography
was requested by a junior doctor for a 75 year-old woman
who suffered from a sudden onset left visual loss. The vision was 6/9 in the right eye and counting finger in the left. Fundoscopy showed a subretinal haemorrhage possibly arising from subretinal neovascular membrane. The fluroescein angiography showed masking of the structures beneath the macula and therefore of little help in the management of this patient. (click on the picture for a magnified view). |
