History: This fluorescein angiography was performed
on a 69 year-old woman with a known history of age-related
macular degeneration. She presented 2 days earlier with a sudden onset decreased right vision from 6/12 to 6/36. Fundoscopy showed macular haemorrhage. The fluorescein angiography revealed the presence of a subfoveal subretinal neovascular membrane of the classic type. PDT was performed two days later. Her vision stabilized at 6/18 at 2-month follow-up (click on the pictures for magnified view). |
