The eyebrow forms a conspicuous part of the face and it is not surprising that human being have tried to alter its shape, colour and contour to attract admirers. While the brow ring (above) may have lost some of its novelty, some unusual tribal artworks have yet to catch on in the West  (see below and click pictures to enlarge).
